Pack Contents and Use

This pack contains fifteen CAT6 keystone jacks with FTP shielding and a 90-degree termination angle. They are designed for solid conductor 23AWG or 24AWG cable and snap into standard keystone ports on wall plates or patch panels.

Suited Installations

The jacks suit network installers who need shielded, low-profile terminations for office, home, A/V or server room runs. Builders requiring unshielded jacks, angled faceplates or tool-less termination should look at other products.

Capacity and Limits

Each jack supports CAT6 performance and exceeds EN 50173 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards. The FTP shielding protects against EMI/RFI interference, while the nickel-plated contacts resist corrosion. The 90-degree design eases routing in tight spaces.

Questions about this item

Do I need a keystone wall plate or patch panel with standard ports to mount these jacks?

Yes, they snap into any standard keystone port on a wall plate, patch panel or surface-mount box.

Will these shielded CAT6 jacks work with my existing CAT5e patch cables?

They are backward compatible, so CAT5e cables will connect and run at CAT5e speeds.

How can I verify the shielding is effective after I punch down the cables?

Use a cable certifier to confirm the link passes CAT6 alien-crosstalk and return-loss limits per EN 50173 and ISO/IEC 11801.
