CAT6 UTP keystone coupler 10-pack

The NavePoint CAT6 UTP keystone coupler joins two terminated Ethernet cables through a single keystone opening. Each unit accepts 8P8C connectors on both sides and meets TIA/EIA 568-C.2 compliance for Category 6 performance. The pack contains ten black couplers ready for snap-in installation.

Check keystone opening and cable type

Verify that your patch panel, wall plate or surface-mount box uses standard keystone cut-outs before ordering. The coupler is designed for unshielded twisted-pair cables only; shielded or non-8P8C plugs will not seat correctly. No punch-down tools are required for the connection.

Snap-in extender for LAN wiring

The female-to-female design extends a cable run by linking two pre-terminated leads without re-termination. Phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating resist corrosion in office, AV, home or server-room environments. The quick snap-in clip secures the coupler in any compatible keystone mount, freeing you from tool-dependent splices.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 10-pack and is any extra hardware needed for mounting?

The pack contains ten black CAT6 UTP keystone couplers with RJ45 female-to-female contacts and integrated snap-in retaining clips. No separate mounting clips or punch-down tools are required; each unit snaps directly into standard keystone openings.

The listing mentions CAT6 UTP and TIA/EIA 568-C.2 — which version should I choose for a typical home or office LAN?

The supplied couplers are Category 6 UTP rated to TIA/EIA 568-C.2, which is the standard choice for gigabit Ethernet runs in homes, offices and server rooms. No other version or capacity is offered in this pack.

What does the CAT6 UTP rating mean once the coupler is installed in a wall plate or patch panel?

It confirms the coupler supports 8-position 8-conductor (8P8C) terminated cables at Category 6 performance, allowing two patch leads to be joined while maintaining gigabit-speed signal integrity through the keystone port.
