Ten-pack keystone coupler

This NavePoint CAT6 UTP inline coupler connects two RJ45-terminated cables through a keystone opening. Each unit accepts 8-position 8-conductor (8P8C) unshielded cables and snaps into standard patch panels, wall plates or surface-mount boxes. Phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating resist corrosion. The pack contains 10 gray couplers ready for tool-free installation.

Suits installers extending runs

Network technicians who need a quick, solderless way to join CAT6 cables in a rack, wall plate or floor box will find these couplers convenient. They are not for installers who require shielded connections, outdoor-rated jackets or a single bulkhead feed-through instead of a keystone footprint. Buyers needing PoE power budgets beyond the CAT6 UTP specification should verify cable ratings separately.

Fits standard keystone cut-outs

Each coupler occupies one keystone port and requires no punch-down tool — just snap it in and plug cables front and back. This frees up bench time because there is no termination step, and it keeps the patch panel layout unchanged when a run must be lengthened. The TIA/EIA 568-C.2 compliant design works with existing CAT6 UTP cabling infrastructure.

Questions about this item

What keystone-compatible hardware do I need to mount these couplers?

They snap into any standard keystone patch panel, surface-mount box or wall-plate faceplate that accepts a keystone jack.

Will these CAT6 couplers pass traffic from my older CAT5e patch cables?

Yes, the 8P8C female-to-female contacts accept unshielded CAT5e or CAT6 cords and maintain the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 link.

How can I confirm each coupler is seated and passing data after installation?

Press until the retaining clip clicks, then verify link lights on both connected devices show activity.
