Portable 16-inch TV and multimedia player

This 16-inch TFT LCD panel with 1366 x 768 resolution receives over-the-air digital broadcasts through its built-in ATSC tuner and external antenna. It also plays video, audio, image and text files from a USB drive in formats such as MP4, HEVC, MKV, MP3 and JPEG. The package includes a remote control, AV cable and user manual for immediate setup.

Replaces a fixed kitchen or bedroom TV

The unit adds 12-volt vehicle power and a 3.7V 5000mAh rechargeable battery that runs for about 2.5 hours, so the same screen moves from a mains outlet to a car, caravan or campsite without extra hardware. The jump is worth it when you want one device that works on AC 100-240V, DC 12V and battery power instead of separate screens for each location.

Simple three-way power and HDMI input

Connect the ETL-listed AC adapter, plug the DC car cord into a 12-volt socket or rely on the internal battery; the player switches between sources automatically. An HDMI port accepts external devices such as streaming sticks or consoles. What usually goes wrong is forgetting to extend the external antenna for digital TV reception or leaving the battery uncharged before a trip.

Questions about this item

Does the 16" TV need a wall mount or stand, or can it sit on a flat surface?

The unit is a portable 16" TFT LCD with a built-in rechargeable 3.7V 5000mAh battery, so it sits on any stable flat surface; no wall mount or separate stand is required.

How do I connect the external antenna for the built-in ATSC tuner, and what mistake should I avoid?

Screw the supplied external antenna into the antenna input, then run a channel scan from the menu; the common error is skipping the scan after plugging in the antenna.

What maintenance does the internal 3.7V 5000mAh lithium battery need, and when should I replace it?

Recharge the battery at least every few months during storage; replace it when run-time drops well below the rated 2.5 hours of playback.
