Voice-controlled Alexa speaker

The Naxa NAS-5003 is a voice-controlled hands-free speaker with Amazon Alexa support for music, news, weather and smart-home commands. It connects via wireless Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and is certified for use with Amazon Alexa Voice Services. Up to six speakers can be linked on the same Wi-Fi network. A free Naxa RESOUND app for iPhone or Android controls Wi-Fi functions.

Humidity-resistant design

The unit is humidity-resistant, making it suitable for bathroom use. It delivers 6W RMS output at 10% THD from two drivers and one passive radiator. Play time reaches 5 hours on a charge. Weight is 1.8 kg.

Wired AUX input option

A 3.5 mm AUX input allows connection of external media devices that lack wireless capability. This provides a direct wired alternative to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi streaming. The speaker requires a smartphone for initial app setup and Wi-Fi control. Buyers who need conference recording or multi-room audio without a phone should look elsewhere.
