Portable Bluetooth boombox with CD and USB playback

The Naxa NPB-262 is a black portable speaker that streams audio wirelessly from Bluetooth devices while also playing CDs, CD-R/RW discs and MP3 files from USB memory sticks. It includes AM/FM radio with preset tuning and a 3.5 mm auxiliary input for wired sources. Color light effects add visual flair for parties or gatherings.

Replaces separate CD player, radio and PA amplifier

This single unit consolidates disc playback, radio reception, Bluetooth streaming and a public-address system with two 6.3 mm connectors for microphones or guitars. The jump is worth it when you want one transportable device that covers playback, amplification and live-input needs without carrying multiple boxes.

Handles music playback.

Bass-reflex enclosure delivers low-end response you can feel for indoor or outdoor listening. Two 6.3 mm inputs let you plug in microphones or instruments for announcements or performances. Runs out of steam for large venues or high-SPL demands where a dedicated multi-speaker PA would be required.

Questions about this item

How much space and weight should I plan for the NPB-262?

The boombox weighs 15.7 units and has a built-in carry strap, so allow room for a medium-sized portable speaker on a shelf or floor.

What is the most common mistake when connecting a microphone or guitar?

Plugging into the 3.5 mm AUX jack instead of the two 6.3 mm microphone/guitar connectors, which are the correct inputs for PA use.

Which parts will need replacement first with regular use?

The CD laser mechanism and the USB port for flash drives are the moving or wear-prone components most likely to require service over time.
