Smart Grip wireless car charger

The Naztech Smart Grip is a Qi wireless car mount that automatically clamps a phone and delivers up to 15W fast charging. It fits Apple, Google and Samsung handsets and includes vent, dash and windshield mounting options. A dual USB car charger and USB-C cable are supplied in the box.

Practical limits of 15W wireless charging

The 15W output depends on the phone supporting the same wireless power level and on the included dual USB charger supplying enough current. Thick or metal cases can reduce efficiency, and precise alignment is still required for maximum speed. Charging will be slower on devices limited to lower wireless wattages.

Build quality and daily use

The cradle uses motorised arms triggered by touch sensors, opening and closing each time a phone is placed or removed. Its wide grip accommodates larger phones without removing most cases. Three mounting bases let the driver choose vent, dashboard or windshield positioning for hands-free navigation and calls.

Questions about this item

Which mounting option should I pick — vent, dash or windshield?

The package includes all three mounts so you can swap between vent, dash and windshield positions without buying extra parts.

What does the 15W rating deliver on my phone?

The mount supplies up to 15W wireless output, giving roughly three times the speed of a basic 5W pad for compatible iPhone and Android handsets.

How does the USB-C cable and dual USB car charger connect to the mount?

Plug the USB-C cable into the mount and the dual USB fast car charger into the vehicle socket; the charger powers the mount while leaving a second USB port free for another device.
