Inline swing check valve with PVC body, EPDM seal, 12.47 gpm flow, 150 psi rating at 70°F, 4.5938 in overall length
This NDS 1520-07F valve uses a single inline swing mechanism to prevent backflow in plumbing systems. The PVC body and seat accept 3/4 in FNPT x FNPT connections and the unit measures 4.5938 in overall length. It suits residential or light-commercial water lines that need a simple, full-flow check valve without a spring-loaded design.
The valve handles water up to 150 psi at 70 Degrees F and operates between 14 and 140 Degrees F. Cracking pressure is 0.25 psi and maximum flow reaches 12.47 gpm with full-flow capacity. Steam service is not rated and the EPDM seal maintains integrity within the stated temperature and pressure range.
Horizontal or vertical mounting orientations are both supported so the valve fits existing pipe runs without re-routing. The PVC construction eliminates the need for dielectric unions when connecting to similar plastic piping. No external power or actuation is required and the inline body keeps the footprint compact for tight mechanical rooms.

Thread the valve onto 3/4 in FNPT fittings using pipe sealant on the male threads. The inline swing mechanism works in both horizontal and vertical mounting orientations, but the hinge pin must stay level so the disc swings freely.
The EPDM seal and PVC seat wear first. If the 0.25 psi cracking pressure no longer holds — water seeps backward when the pump stops — the seal has hardened or the seat has eroded and the valve should be replaced.
The 140 °F maximum temperature is reached before the 150 psi pressure rating at 70 °F. Sustained flow above 140 °F softens the PVC body and EPDM seal, causing the 12.47 gpm full-flow capacity to drop.
