NEC 50018690 replacement lamp

The NEC 50018690 is a complete 120W lamp module with housing, designed as a drop-in replacement for compatible NEC projectors. It arrives fully assembled, so users can swap the old unit without handling a bare bulb.

P-VIP 120W lamp life and output

The P-VIP bulb runs at 120W and is rated for 1000 hours of operation before replacement is needed. Brightness and colour stability will gradually decline as the lamp approaches this limit, and the projector will eventually require a new module to maintain usable image quality.

Tool-free module swap and common pitfalls

Installation consists of opening the projector lamp door, removing the old module, and sliding the new one into place until it seats firmly. The most frequent issues are forgetting to reset the lamp-hour counter in the projector menu and failing to latch the door securely, which can prevent the unit from powering on.
