Replacement Lamp for NEC M420XV Projector

This 265W UHP lamp module includes a new Osram bulb pre-fitted in its housing. It matches the NP17LP specification for direct installation in compatible NEC projectors. The unit is supplied new and ready to fit without additional assembly.

Rated Life in Normal and Economy Modes

Under continuous operation the lamp is rated for 3000 hours in normal mode and 3500 hours in economy mode. Economy mode reduces power draw to extend usable life while maintaining projection output. Actual runtime will vary with usage patterns and environmental conditions.

Upgrade from a Dim or Expired Lamp

This module replaces an ageing lamp that has lost brightness or reached its rated hour limit. The jump is worth it when image quality has faded or the projector warns of imminent lamp failure. It is not suited for projectors that require a different wattage or bulb type.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 265 W UHP lamp draw when the projector runs all day?

The lamp is rated at 265 W; the projector will draw that wattage plus its own overhead while the lamp is lit.

Which NEC projector models accept the NP17LP lamp module so I know it fits my unit?

The NP17LP is built for the NEC M420XV projector; verify your projector model matches before ordering.

Will the lamp’s 3,000-hour normal life or 3,500-hour economy life work with an older M420XV that has seen heavy use?

Yes, the lamp life ratings apply regardless of the projector’s age as long as the M420XV is functioning correctly.
