A ready-to-install 265W projector lamp module with 3,000 to 3,500 hours rated life
The NEC NP-M420XVG module ships as a complete 265 W bulb-and-housing assembly built to ISO 9001 quality standards. It matches the original NP17LP specification so technicians can swap it in without extra tools or alignment steps.
The 265 watt UHP lamp runs at its rated power in normal mode and drops consumption in economy mode to extend service life. Rated lifetime reaches 3 000 hours under standard settings and 3 500 hours when economy mode is active.
Designed as a direct drop-in for compatible NEC projectors, the unit requires no additional brackets, cables or firmware updates. Buyers who need a different wattage, a bare bulb without housing, or a non-OEM alternative will need another part.

The NP17LP module arrives fully assembled with housing, so you only need to power off the projector, remove the old lamp cover, slide out the used unit, insert the new module until it seats firmly, replace the cover, then reset the lamp-hour counter in the projector menu — skipping the counter reset is the step most often missed.
The lamp itself is the only replaceable part; rated life is 3000 hours in Normal mode or 3500 hours in Economy mode, after which brightness drops and the projector will prompt for a new NP17LP module — no filter or separate bulb change is required.
The 3000-hour Normal-mode rating (or 3500 hours in Economy) is the first hard limit; once reached the lamp’s output falls below usable levels and the projector will indicate replacement is needed.
