Designed for classrooms and meeting rooms

The NEC NP-P547UL is a laser LCD projector built for higher education and corporate environments. Its IP5x sealed cooling system removes the need for filter maintenance while keeping operation whisper quiet. The unit supports ceiling or floor mounting with manual lens shift for flexible placement.

5400 lumens with 4K UHD input support

Brightness reaches 5400 ANSI lumen at a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Native WUXGA resolution handles 1920x1200 signals, while the scaler accepts 4K UHD at 3840x2160 30Hz via HDMI or HDBaseT. Throw ratio spans 1.23-2.0:1 across distances from .8 to 12.9 metres, covering 4:3, 16:9 and 21:9 content.

Replaces lamp-based installs needing constant upkeep

The laser light source and filter-free design eliminate recurring lamp and filter costs for IT teams managing multiple rooms. HDBaseT consolidates video, audio and control over a single cable, simplifying rack integration. Buyers who require motorised lens shift or 4K 60Hz native decoding should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the HDBaseT and HDMI inputs on this NP-P547UL work with my older AV receiver that only outputs 1080p?

Yes, the projector accepts 480i through 1080p signals on both HDMI and HDBaseT, so a 1080p source will display without issue.

How can I confirm the laser light source and sealed cooling are operating correctly after installation?

The projector runs whisper quiet with no filter to check; a stable 5400 lumen image and no overheating warnings indicate the IP5x sealed cooling and laser are working as intended.

Does the box include a lens or an HDBaseT cable, or must I buy them separately?

The NP-P547UL ships with its 1.6x manual zoom lens built in; an HDBaseT cable is not included and must be purchased separately.
