Questions about this item

What projector model does the NP17LP 265W lamp fit?

The NP17LP module is built for the NEC NP-M420XG projector and slides directly into that chassis.

What physical space does the NP17LP lamp module require inside the projector?

It ships as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly sized to match the original NP-M420XG lamp cavity, so no extra brackets or adapters are needed.

What is the correct way to install the NP17LP lamp and what step do people often miss?

Power off and unplug the NP-M420XG, open the lamp door, remove the old module, insert the new NP17LP until it seats firmly, close the door, then reset the lamp-hour counter in the projector menu — skipping the reset is the common mistake.
