NEC NP3151W+ 330W Projector Lamp Module

The NEC NP3151W+ is a 330 watt replacement projector lamp module designed for compatible NEC projectors. It arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing unit, ready for direct installation. The module uses a Philips NSH bulb and is manufactured to ISO9001 quality standards. It suits users needing a reliable OEM-standard light source for their existing NEC projector.

Verify Projector Compatibility Before Purchase

Confirm that your specific NEC projector model accepts the NP3151W+ lamp module, also referenced as NP06LP. Check the current lamp hours in your projector menu to plan the replacement timing. Ensure the projector is powered off and fully cooled before attempting to remove the old lamp assembly. This lamp is not suitable for projectors requiring a different wattage or form factor.

Pre-Assembled Housing Simplifies Installation

The lamp ships with the bulb already secured inside the housing, eliminating the need for separate bulb handling or alignment. This design reduces the risk of contamination on the glass envelope during the swap. Rated life spans 2,000 hours in normal mode and 3,000 hours in economy mode. The sturdy housing protects the NSH bulb during transport and daily operation.

Questions about this item

Does the NP3151W+ lamp arrive as a complete module or must the bulb be fitted into the housing separately?

The lamp is supplied as a fully assembled module with the Philips NSH 330W bulb already mounted in its housing, so no extra assembly is required before installation.

Which of the four available versions of the NP3151W+ should I choose for my projector?

All four versions — three OEM options from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita and one compatible using genuine OEM parts — meet ISO9001 quality checks, so any will work; pick the OEM version matching the original bulb maker for exact performance or the compatible for a lower cost.

What do the 2000-hour and 3000-hour figures mean for daily use of the 330W lamp?

In Normal mode the lamp is rated for 2000 hours, and in Economy mode for 3000 hours; at four hours per day that equals roughly 1.4 years or 2 years respectively before the rated life is reached.
