Who should buy this and who should not

Facilities teams and AV integrators maintaining the listed NEC projectors will find a direct-fit part with a rated life of 4000 hours in standard mode and 8000 hours in eco mode. Buyers who need a lamp for any other projector model, a different wattage, or a longer rated lifespan should look elsewhere.

The spec that decides fit

The 330W power rating and the explicit compatibility list are the only factors that confirm this module will strike and run correctly in your unit; verify the projector model number against the list before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the NP44LP lamp ship with any housing or tools, or is it just the bare bulb?

The NP44LP is supplied as a complete lamp module ready to install in compatible NEC projectors; no separate housing or tools are required.

Should I expect 4000 or 8000 hours from the NP44LP in my NP-P554W?

The NP44LP is rated for 4000 hours in standard mode and 8000 hours in eco mode on the NP-P554W.

What does the 330W rating mean for brightness and heat on an NP-P474U?

The 330W rating is the lamp power draw; it determines the light output and cooling requirements specified for the NP-P474U.
