Genuine Replacement Lamp for NEC P420XG

The NP17LP module delivers a new 265W UHP bulb inside a complete housing, ready for direct installation in the NEC P420XG projector. It restores original brightness and colour accuracy for classrooms, meeting rooms or home cinema setups that rely on this model.

Sustained Output Over Thousands of Hours

Rated life reaches 3,000 hours in Normal mode and extends to 3,500 hours in Economy mode, so the lamp maintains stable output through long teaching days or back-to-back presentations without the rapid dimming seen in short-cycle use.

Upgrade From a Dim or Failed Original Lamp

Replaces the factory lamp when brightness has dropped below usable levels or the projector signals end-of-life. The jump is worth it when image quality affects readability or professional impression, not for users seeking higher resolution or a different throw ratio.

Will the 3 000-hour normal life rating still apply if I keep using an older P420XG projector?
