Direct Replacement Lamp

The NEC PA550W lamp module NP21LP is a new 230W UHP projector lamp supplied as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly. It is built for users who need a straightforward, ready-to-install replacement for their NEC projector without separate handling of the bare bulb.

Suitable for Standard Brightness Needs

This unit suits owners of the PA550W projector who want original-equipment brightness and a 3,000-hour rated life under normal operating conditions. It is not intended for users who require extended-hour ratings beyond 3,000 hours or who need a lower-wattage module for reduced power draw.

Stable Output Over Rated Life

The 230W UHP lamp maintains consistent beam performance across its 3,000-hour rating, with each unit tested for ignition reliability, voltage stability and run-time before shipping. Output remains steady during extended sessions rather than fading quickly after a short warm-up period.

Questions about this item

Which NEC projector models accept the NP21LP 230W lamp module?

The NP21LP is built for the NEC PA550W projector; it fits that model as a direct replacement lamp.

Can I keep using my existing ceiling mount and cables when I swap in this 230W lamp?

Yes — the lamp module slides into the same housing, so your current mount, power cord and signal cables stay unchanged.

How do I confirm the new lamp is running correctly after installation?

Reset the lamp-hour counter in the projector menu; the timer should start from zero and the image should reach full brightness without flicker.
