Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

It suits owners of NEC projectors that accept the VT77LP lamp and want a new OEM or compatible module with a 180-day warranty. It does not suit buyers who need a bare bulb without housing, a different wattage, or a lamp coded for another projector series.

Deciding Specification — Rated Lamp Life

The lamp is rated for 2000 hours in normal mode and 3000 hours in economy mode, so the choice between brightness and longevity is the single figure that confirms whether this module matches the intended usage pattern.

Questions about this item

How many hours will the 200W UHP lamp last before it needs replacing?

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours in Normal mode and up to 3,000 hours in Economy mode, so the limit you hit first depends on which brightness setting you use.

Will the housing or bulb run hot or loud during all-day projection?

The module ships as a complete 200W UHP lamp and housing; heat and fan noise are determined by the projector's own cooling system rather than the lamp itself.

Which NEC projector models accept this VT77LP module without extra parts?

The VT77LP is a direct replacement for the original lamp in compatible NEC projectors, so no additional cables, mounts or adapters are required.
