Compact Business Projector

The NEC NP-M260X is a 3LCD projector built for meeting rooms and small classrooms. Its native 1024 x 768 resolution and 2600 lumens brightness suit presentations in lit spaces. The unit weighs 6.4 lbs and measures 13.4 x 10.1 x 3.9 inches for easy placement.

Upgrade From Dimmer Units

This model replaces older projectors with lower lumen output or shorter lamp life. The jump is worth it when you need 2600 lumens and up to 6000 hours of lamp life in ECO Mode. A 2000:1 contrast ratio and 1080p HD video support improve image clarity over basic SVGA models.

Check Inputs And Throw Distance

Verify your source devices match the available computer inputs and RJ-45 or wireless LAN options. Ensure the 1.3 to 2.2 throw ratio fits your room depth for the desired 25 to 300 inch screen size. Manual focus and 1.7 zoom require physical adjustment during setup.

Questions about this item

What are the physical dimensions and weight for mounting the NP-M260X?

The projector measures 13.4 x 10.1 x 3.9 inches and weighs 6.4 lbs, so check your mount's size and load rating against those figures.

How do I set up the keystone correction and what step is often missed?

Use the automatic keystone for quick alignment or the manual correction for precise geometry; the step often missed is refocusing the image manually after the keystone adjustment.

When will the lamp and filter need replacement in typical use?

In ECO Mode the lamp lasts up to 6000 hours; the extended-life filter is designed to match that interval, so plan to service both at the same time.
