Questions about this item

Which version of the NP-P420XG lamp should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

Three OEM versions come directly from the original bulb makers — Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita — while the compatible version uses genuine OEM parts from a leading third-party maker; all are built to ISO9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, connections and run-time.

What does the 265W rating mean for brightness and heat in my projector?

The 265W UHP bulb delivers the light output the NP-P420XG was designed for, so image brightness matches the original specification and the projector’s cooling system handles the heat exactly as intended.

How does the lamp interface with the NP-P420XG and what limits its usable life?

The module includes a fully assembled bulb and housing that plugs straight into the NP-P420XG; rated life is 3000 hours in Normal mode and 3500 hours in Economy mode.
