Ready-to-install lamp module

The NEC NP-PA903X-41ZL is a complete 370W projector lamp assembly that includes a new Philips AC bulb mounted in its housing. It is designed as a direct replacement for the NP42LP module used in compatible NEC projectors. Installation requires no separate bulb handling.

Rated hours by operating mode

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 4000 hours of operation before replacement is recommended. Switching the projector to economy mode extends the rated life to 5000 hours while reducing brightness output. Actual runtime will vary with usage patterns and environmental conditions.

Verify projector compatibility first

Confirm that your NEC projector lists the NP42LP or NP-PA903X-41ZL as its approved lamp module before ordering. This unit is not suitable for projectors that require a different wattage or housing design. Check the manufacturer’s lamp compatibility chart to avoid a mismatch.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 370W lamp produce during all-day use?

The lamp draws 370W; expect significant heat output during extended operation, so ensure the projector's ventilation is unobstructed and the room has adequate airflow.

What projector models must I already own for the NP-PA903X-41ZL to fit and work?

This module is built for NEC projectors that accept the NP42LP lamp; verify your projector's manual lists NP42LP or NP-PA903X-41ZL as the correct replacement part.

Will the 370W lamp work reliably alongside older NEC projectors I still use?

If the older projector specifies the NP42LP or NP-PA903X-41ZL lamp, the module installs directly and delivers 4,000 hours normal or 5,000 hours economy life.
