NEC NP4001 260W Projector Lamp

The NEC NP4001 is a 260 watt replacement lamp module designed for compatible NEC projectors. It arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing unit, ready for immediate installation. The module uses a new Osram P-VIP 260W bulb rated for 3,000 hours of operation. This product suits users needing a direct OEM-specification replacement for a depleted lamp.

Fits NEC projectors requiring the NP4001 module

The lamp module integrates the bulb and housing into a single component, eliminating the need for separate handling or alignment during replacement. It draws 260W from the projector's existing power supply and connects via the standard lamp connector. No additional tools, adapters or firmware updates are required for the swap. The projector's lamp timer should be reset after installation to track the new 3,000 hour rating.

Replaces the original lamp when brightness fades

Install this module when the projector warns of lamp end-of-life or when image brightness drops below usable levels. The 3,000 hour rating restores the original runtime specification for the projector model. The jump is worth it when the current lamp has reached its rated limit or shows visible degradation such as colour shift or hot-spotting. It is not suited for projectors that accept a different lamp code or wattage.
