A replacement projector lamp module with a 180 W NSH bulb and housing, rated for 4,000 hours normal or 5,000 hours economy use
The NEC NP510G is a 180W projector lamp module that includes a new Philips NSH bulb pre-assembled in its housing. It serves as a direct replacement for the NP14LP model used in compatible NEC projectors. The unit arrives ready to install without additional assembly.
The pre-assembled housing allows straightforward installation by sliding the module into the projector and securing it. A frequent issue occurs when the lamp-hour counter is not reset after fitting the new module, causing the projector to shut down prematurely or display a replacement warning. Another common problem is touching the bulb glass with bare fingers, which creates hot spots that shorten lamp life.
Rated output is 4,000 hours in normal mode and 5,000 hours in economy mode, after which brightness drops below usable levels. The NSH bulb requires a cool-down period before the projector can be restarted, so immediate power cycling is not possible. Operating at high altitude or in dusty environments can reduce the achieved hours below the rated figures.

Check the projector's on-screen lamp-hour counter; it should reset to zero and then count up steadily toward the 4 000-hour normal or 5 000-hour economy rating without flickering or error messages.
The module ships as a complete 180 W NSH bulb inside its housing, ready to install; no separate bulb, tools or accessories are needed.
All four versions — three OEM-sourced (original bulb maker, NEC-branded, alternate OEM) and one compatible — share the same 180 W rating and 4 000/5 000 hour life, so pick based on budget and brand preference.
