NEC VT580 Portable 3LCD Projector

The NEC VT580 is a lightweight 3LCD projector designed for business presentations in offices, schools and colleges. Weighing 6.4 lbs it can be carried between meeting rooms or classrooms without a dedicated installation. The 16.7 million colour output delivers vivid images for slides, spreadsheets and video playback. An integrated 1 watt speaker provides basic audio for small spaces.

Native XGA 1024 x 768 Resolution

The panel's native 1024 x 768 pixel grid matches XGA sources pixel-for-pixel so text and fine graphics stay sharp without scaling artefacts. It also accepts a 1080i HD signal and downscales it to the native grid for compatible playback. Buyers who need full 1080p or higher native resolution should consider a different model.

35 dB Operation at 2000 Lumens

In normal use the projector runs at 35 dB, a level that stays unobtrusive during quiet presentations. Brightness is rated at 2000 ANSI lumens with a 600:1 contrast ratio, giving clear images under typical office lighting. The unit draws enough power for that output while keeping fan noise at the quoted level.
