Ready-to-present XGA projector

The NEC VT590 is a new business projector built for professionals who need a dependable display for meetings and classrooms. Its native 1024 x 768 resolution delivers clear text and graphics for standard presentations. Brightness rated at 1500 to 1999 lumens keeps images visible in lit rooms. The unit has logged 1437 lamp hours and remains in new condition.

Consistent output during long sessions

Quick start-up brings the projector to full brightness in seconds, so there is no waiting when a meeting begins. Autosense syncs automatically with most computer signals, maintaining a stable picture without manual tweaking. One-touch image optimisation preserves sharpness and colour balance throughout extended use. The design supports continuous operation for typical business hours.

Portable build with flexible connections

A lightweight chassis makes transport between rooms or sites straightforward. Colour-coded ports simplify hooking up a laptop, video source or external monitor at a glance. Keystone correction squares the image even when the projector sits at a steep offset to the screen. The keypad provides one-touch source switching and full menu control without a remote.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the NEC VT590 run during all-day presentations?

The VT590 uses a 1500–1999 lumen lamp that generates noticeable heat and fan noise during extended use; allow ventilation space around the projector and expect the exhaust air to become warm after several hours of continuous operation.

Which cables or source devices must I already own to connect the VT590?

The projector provides colour-coded analogue inputs for a computer VGA signal, composite or S-Video sources, and a VGA monitor pass-through; you will need the matching VGA and video cables for each device you plan to connect.

Will the VT590 display correctly from an older laptop that only outputs 1024 x 768?

Yes — 1024 x 768 is the native XGA resolution, so the projector syncs automatically via AutoSense and shows a pixel-perfect image without scaling artefacts.
