18 cm Bowens Reflector with Grid

This 18 cm standard reflector mounts directly onto Bowens-type studio strobes or continuous lights. It bundles a honeycomb grid that narrows the beam to 10, 30 or 50 degrees. The unit suits photographers and videographers who need precise, directional output without adding a softbox. Flash head and mounting bracket are not included.

Sustained heat handling

The metal reflector body acts as a passive heat sink, so continuous LED or modelling-lamp output runs cooler than enclosed modifiers. The open-front design lets excess warmth escape upward, preventing the colour shift that can occur when a grid traps heat during long sessions. No active cooling is required.

Quick Bowens installation

The reflector slides onto any standard Bowens bayonet and locks with a quarter turn — no tools needed. The grid inserts into the front lip and stays seated by friction; it can be swapped in seconds for a different beam angle. The only common issue is forgetting to remove the protective film on the grid before the first use.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 18 cm reflector draw when the strobe runs all day?

The reflector itself draws no power; it is a passive metal dish that only redirects the strobe output.

Which Bowens-mount strobe or flash head must I already own to attach this 18 cm reflector?

Any Bowens-mount studio strobe or flash head will accept the reflector; flash and metal bracket are not included.

Will the 10/30/50° honeycomb grid fit older Bowens-mount heads I already keep?

Yes, the grid slides into the same 18 cm reflector dish that mounts on any Bowens-compatible head.
