Neewer NL48R Magnetic Selfie Light 40 LED 914lx 360° rotation

Pocket-Sized Ring Light

The Neewer NL48R is a pocket-sized magnetic ring light built for smartphone creators who need a portable fill light for selfies, video calls and live streams. It folds to 2.64 x 2.64 x 0.89 inches and weighs 2.47 ounces, so it slips into a pocket or small bag. Forty LEDs deliver 914 lux at 0.2 metres with a CRI of 95+, providing accurate colour for makeup or product shots. The unit is aimed at beginners who want simple, direct lighting without complex controls.

Magnetic Mount and Rotation

The light attaches directly to MagSafe-compatible iPhone 12 through 16 models, and an adhesive magnet ring is included for Android phones, tablets or laptops. Once mounted, the head rotates 360 degrees horizontally and tilts 270 degrees vertically, letting you switch between front and rear cameras or angle the light for overhead recording. No tools or clamps are required, but the adhesive ring must be applied cleanly to a flat surface; dust or curved cases can weaken the bond. Battery life is rated at 100 minutes per charge via the USB port.

Check Phone and Power Needs

Before ordering, confirm your phone either supports MagSafe or has a flat, non-textured area at least 67 millimetres wide for the included magnet ring. The light draws 1.5 watts over USB, so any standard phone charger or power bank can power it, but you will need a free USB port or adapter. The 360-degree horizontal and 270-degree vertical range covers most desk and handheld angles, though extreme low-angle shots may be limited by the phone body itself.
