Portable RGB pocket light

The Neewer RGB-PL01 is a compact LED video light built for photographers, videographers and streamers who need accurate colour on the move. It delivers 100 LEDs with a CRI of 96+ so skin tones and product colours stay natural. The pocket-sized body suits run-and-gun shoots, vlogging and tabletop work where larger panels are impractical. It is not aimed at buyers who need high-output key lighting for full-room illumination.

Colour range and battery headroom

Adjustable colour temperature runs from 2700K to 7500K with full 0-360° hue control and 0-100% dimming across three power steps of 6W, 8W and 12W. At 12W the unit produces 1429 lux for bright fill; at 6W it stretches the 2500mAh battery toward the rated 2-hour MTBF. Thirteen built-in effects including lightning, fire and SOS cover creative and emergency needs. Users who require all-day continuous output without recharging will find the runtime limiting.

Thermals, noise and power draw

Passive cooling keeps the light silent during video takes and live streams. The aluminium housing dissipates heat from the 12W maximum draw without fan noise. Power comes from the internal 2500mAh cell charged via the supplied cable, so no external supply or mains voltage is needed during operation. Creators who need silent, cool-running light for close-up interviews or ASMR work will appreciate the lack of audible distraction.

Questions about this item

Will the Neewer RGB-PL01's 1/4-inch audio compatibility let me mount it on my existing light stand?

Yes, the 1/4-inch audio compatibility allows mounting on standard light stands and camera rigs with a matching thread, so your current support gear works directly.

How can I verify the Neewer RGB-PL01 is delivering its rated 1429 lux and 96+ CRI after I set it up?

Use a handheld light meter at 1 metre to confirm 1429 lux at full power, and compare skin tones or a colour chart under the light to reference images to validate the 96+ CRI claim.

What comes in the box with the Neewer RGB-PL01 and what must I buy separately?

The package includes the RGB-PL01 light unit; a 1/4-inch mount, power adapter, diffusion filter and carrying case are not included and must be purchased separately.
