5" Ring Light for Video Calls

The Neewer V01 is a 5-inch LED ring light built for laptop, monitor and webcam mounting. It delivers up to 450 lumens from 84 LEDs at 10W, with a CRI above 97.8 for accurate colour reproduction. The edge-lit panel and four-layer diffusion provide flicker-free, glare-free illumination suited to long Zoom meetings, streaming or content creation sessions.

Check USB Power and Mount Clearance

Verify that your computer or charger can supply 5V at 2A through a USB 2.0 Type-A port to maintain flicker-free operation. The hang clip stretches 2 to 2.5 inches to fit straight or curved screens without damage, while the desktop stand adjusts from 6.5 to 8.5 inches for phones, tablets or laptops. Ensure the mounting surface accommodates the folded bracket dimensions of 90° and 80°.

Upgrade from Built-In Webcam Lighting

This light replaces the harsh, low-CRI output of integrated laptop LEDs or basic clip-on lamps. The jump is worth it when you need 50 dimmable modes across five colour temperatures from 3000K to 6500K and ten brightness steps from 3% to 100%. It is not for users who require larger panel sizes, remote control or mains-powered studio fixtures.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a power adapter separately?

The package includes the 5-inch ring light with its foldable bracket, the stretchable screen-safe hang clip and the 6.5–8.5 inch adjustable stand. Power is drawn from a USB 2.0 Type-A port; a 5 V / 2 A adapter is recommended for flicker-free operation and is not included.

Which colour-temperature range and brightness steps does this V01 model offer?

The V01 provides five colour temperatures from 3000 K to 6500 K and ten brightness levels from 3 % to 100 %, giving 50 selectable modes in total.

What does the 10 W / 450 lumen rating mean when the light is clipped on my monitor?

At 0.5 m distance the 84 LEDs deliver 1000 lux, so the 10 W output produces bright, even fill light for video calls without harsh glare on the screen.
