Vloggers and run-and-gun shooters

Creators who need a pocket-sized key or fill light for YouTube, TikTok or live streams will appreciate the 120-degree spread and 3-to-6-metre reach. The softbox diffuser keeps output even at close range. Videographers who require all-day runtime at full power or wireless app control should look at larger mains-powered panels instead.

3000mAh battery runtime

Maximum brightness lasts 150 minutes while the lowest setting stretches to 480 minutes on a single charge. This single figure decides whether the VL81 covers a typical shoot or forces a mid-session recharge.

Questions about this item

Can I attach the VL81 to my existing 1/4" thread tripod or cold shoe bracket?

Yes, the light includes a 1/4" thread mount and three cold shoe mounts so it fits standard tripods and brackets you already own.

How do I know the VL81 is delivering its rated 850 lm and CRI 95 after I set it up?

The built-in LCD shows the exact colour temperature between 3200 K and 5600 K and the brightness level; a steady reading confirms the 850 lm output and CRI 95 performance.

Does the VL81 come with a softbox and Type-C cable, or do I need to buy them separately?

A softbox diffuser and a USB Type-C charging cable are both included in the box; no extra accessories are required for basic operation.
