Universal Plug-and-Play Microphone

The NEEWER VM10 is a compact supercardioid microphone that draws power directly from the host device. It requires no batteries or drivers, making it an immediate solution for vloggers, streamers, podcasters and interviewers who need clear audio without setup complexity.

Supercardioid Pattern and Pickup Range

The supercardioid capsule captures sound from the front and rear, suited to two-person interviews at a working distance of 1.6 to 3.3 feet. Camera input levels should be set near 60 percent to avoid clipping, while the included furry and foam windscreens reduce wind noise and plosives during outdoor recording.

3.5mm TRS and Dual USB-C OTG Connectivity

A 3.5mm TRS cable connects the microphone to cameras and recorders with a matching jack. Two USB-C OTG adapters provide compatibility with iPhone 16 and 15 series, earlier iPhone 12 to 14 models, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and other Android phones, plus USB-C laptops. PC use requires manual microphone input configuration.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5mm TRS cable let me keep using my older DSLR that only has a 3.5mm mic jack?

Yes, the 3.5mm TRS audio cable connects the VM10 directly to any camera with a 3.5mm TRS female jack. Set the camera input level to about 60% to avoid clipping.

How can I confirm the supercardioid pattern is capturing my voice correctly at the 50-100cm range?

Record a test clip at 1.6-3.3 feet distance. The supercardioid pattern picks up sound from front and rear, so speak toward the front and listen for clear, focused audio with reduced side noise.

Does the box include both the Lightning and USB-C OTG adapters for my iPhone 15 and Android phone, or must I buy one separately?

Two OTG adapters are included: one for iPhone 15/16 and USB-C Android devices, another for iPhone 12/13/14. A furry windshield and foam windscreen are also in the kit.
