Portable clip-on light for phones and laptops

The Neewer XJ-71 is a rechargeable clip light with 80 LEDs offering three colour modes from 3000K to 6500K and ten brightness steps. A built-in 2000mAh battery charges via USB Type-C and runs for up to 3 hours at maximum output. The spring clip opens to .9in and includes silicone pads to protect device surfaces. A cold shoe with ¼in thread allows mounting on tripods or selfie sticks.

Suited to mobile creators and remote workers

This light suits anyone needing quick, adjustable fill for video calls, selfies or vlogging on phones, tablets or laptops. The high CRI of 90+ renders skin tones naturally in low-light rooms. Buyers who need continuous all-day lighting without recharging, or who require a larger surface area for studio portraits, should look at mains-powered panel lights instead.

Check your device thickness and mounting needs

Verify that your phone, tablet or laptop edge is no thicker than .9in so the clip can close securely. Ensure a USB Type-C power source is available for recharging between sessions. If you plan to use the cold shoe, confirm your tripod or grip accepts a standard ¼in thread. The unit measures 4in by 3in by .67in and weighs very little for travel.
