128 GB of DDR5 4800 ECC registered server memory in a two-module kit validated for the Cisco UCS C220 M7
This 128GB kit uses two 64GB DDR5 4800 ECC RDIMM modules built for the Cisco UCS C220 M7 rack server. Registered buffering and on-die ECC protect data integrity in virtualization and database workloads. The dual-rank 2Rx4 organisation fills two slots while leaving room for future expansion.
Modules run at 1.1V with CL40 latency and carry no heat spreader, relying on server chassis airflow for cooling. The standard 288-pin RDIMM form factor locks into the Cisco memory risers without adapters. Major OEM DRAM from Samsung, Micron or Hynix is stress tested under load before shipment.
Replaces lower-capacity DDR5 RDIMM kits when the C220 M7 needs more memory channels populated for bandwidth-sensitive applications. The jump is worth it when workloads exceed the current module count or when consolidation demands 128GB per server. Not suited for systems that require unbuffered UDIMMs or non-ECC memory.

Yes, the kit runs at DDR5 4800 which equates to a PC5-38400 peak transfer rate.
The server needs standard 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM slots; each module is a 64 GB 2Rx4 registered DIMM without a heat spreader.
Power down, open the chassis, align each 288-pin module with the keyed slot and press firmly until the ejectors lock; the step most often missed is verifying the 1.10 V setting in BIOS after boot.
