128 GB DDR5 ECC registered DIMM at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency for Cisco UCS C220 M7 servers
This 128GB DDR5 module runs at 4800MHz with CL40 latency and 1.10V operation. It is built as a 4Rx4 registered DIMM with on-die ECC for data integrity. The part is validated for the Cisco UCS C220 M7 rack server and uses major OEM chips from Samsung, Micron or Hynix.
The module uses the standard 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM connector and registered buffering to reduce electrical load on the memory controller. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow in the server chassis provides cooling. The single-stick 128GB density lets administrators populate fewer slots while reaching high total capacity.
Upgrading from smaller registered modules increases the memory ceiling for virtualisation, databases and analytics workloads. The jump is worthwhile when the Cisco UCS C220 M7 needs more capacity per channel and the workload benefits from the 4Rx4 organisation. Buyers who need non-ECC or unbuffered memory should look elsewhere.

The module is rated for DDR5 4800 (PC5-38400) and will run at that speed when installed in a compatible Cisco UCS C220 M7 server.
It fits a standard 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM slot on the server motherboard; no heat spreader is present, so clearance is not increased.
Power down the server, open the chassis, align the notch on the 288-pin RDIMM with the slot key, press firmly until the latches click, then verify the full 128 GB appears in BIOS.
