16 GB DDR4 3200 ECC unbuffered UDIMM with CL22 latency and 1.2 V operation for SuperMicro systems
This 16 GB DDR4 3200 module adds ECC protection to compatible SuperMicro motherboards. It runs at 1.20 V with CL22 latency and a 2Rx8 organisation. The unbuffered design fits standard 288-pin slots without registered timing overhead.
Operating at the standard DDR4 voltage of 1.20 V keeps power draw low for a 16 GB stick. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the PCB handles cooling silently. The module produces no audible noise and adds minimal thermal load to the chassis.
Replaces a smaller-capacity DDR4 ECC UDIMM or fills an empty slot on a supported SuperMicro board. The jump is worthwhile when workloads need ECC data integrity and more than the current installed capacity. Not for systems that require registered DIMMs, DDR5 memory or non-ECC consumer modules.

Align the notch on the module with the slot key, press firmly until both retention clips click shut, then confirm the BIOS reports 16GB at 3200MHz — skipping the clip check is the common error.
No scheduled maintenance is required; if errors appear, run a memory test and replace the stick, as ECC corrects single-bit faults but cannot repair a failing DRAM chip.
The CAS-22 latency ceiling is reached before bandwidth saturates, so latency-sensitive tasks hit the timing wall first under continuous load.
