16 GB DDR5 UDIMM running at 5600 MHz with CL46 latency for Dell Pro Max Slim desktops
This 16 GB DDR5 module is built for the Dell Pro Max Slim desktop and installs in a standard 288-pin UDIMM slot. It targets owners of that system who need more memory for everyday workloads without changing platforms. The single-rank 1Rx8 layout keeps the electrical load light on the memory controller.
Running at 1.10 V, the stick draws minimal power and produces little heat during normal desktop use. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow from the chassis fans passes directly over the DRAM packages. The CL46 latency at 5600 MT/s is the standard JEDEC timing for this voltage class.
The unbuffered, non-ECC design plugs straight into the motherboard without extra registers or error-correction circuitry. One module occupies a single DIMM slot, leaving any remaining slots free for future expansion. Compatibility is limited to the Dell Pro Max Slim desktop as specified by the supplier.

Power off and unplug the PC, open the case, align the module notch with the slot key, press firmly until both retention clips click, then verify the firmware recognises the full 16 GB at 5600 MT/s — the step most often missed is seating the module fully so both clips engage.
No scheduled maintenance is required; keep interior dust-free and ensure airflow. If errors appear, run a memory diagnostic and replace the stick — DDR5 modules do not have user-serviceable parts.
The primary limit is thermal throttling; without a heat spreader the chips rely on case airflow, so prolonged loads may reduce clocks once the safe temperature threshold is reached.
