A 192 GB DDR5 registered ECC memory kit with six 32 GB modules running at 6400 MHz, CL52 latency and 1.1 V for Supermicro BigTwin SYS-222BT-HER servers
This kit provides 192GB of DDR5 registered ECC memory across six 32GB modules. It is built for Supermicro BigTwin SuperServer SYS-222BT-HER platforms that require registered DIMMs with error correction. The modules operate at 6400MHz with CL52 latency at 1.1V.
Each module uses a 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM form factor and a 2Rx8 organisation. The registered buffer reduces electrical load on the server memory controller, allowing high-capacity configurations. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow in the chassis must be sufficient for the dense six-module population.
Replacing smaller registered kits with this 192GB configuration increases the memory ceiling for virtualisation, database and compute workloads on the supported Supermicro platform. The jump is worthwhile when the application set exceeds the capacity of the existing kit and the motherboard can populate all six slots with registered ECC modules.

The kit is rated for PC5-51200 at 6400 MHz with CL52 latency. In the Supermicro BigTwin SuperServer SYS-222BT-HER the memory controller will run it at up to 6400 MHz, limited by the CPU's supported DDR5 speeds and the motherboard's qualified-vendor list.
Each 32 GB module is a standard 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM without a heat spreader, so it fits the server's DIMM slots directly. The BigTwin nodes use vertical DIMM sockets; ensure the ejector tabs lock fully and that no cable or air-shroud blocks the module height.
Populate identical modules in matched channel pairs per CPU as shown in the SYS-222BT-HER manual — typically one DIMM per channel, same bank, same rank. The common mistake is mixing ranks or leaving a channel unbalanced, which forces the memory controller to down-clock or halt training.
