System-specific DDR5 ECC kit

This NEMIX RAM kit delivers 256 GB of DDR5 4800 registered ECC memory in two 128 GB modules. It is built for Supermicro UP SuperServer SYS-111C-NR and SYS-521C-NR platforms as well as the X13SEDW-F motherboard. The modules run at 1.1 V with CL40 latency and a 4Rx4 organisation.

Registered ECC changes data integrity

The registered buffer and on-die ECC correct single-bit errors and reduce electrical load on the memory controller. This allows the Supermicro platform to populate all slots without signal degradation while protecting mission-critical workloads from silent data corruption. No heat spreaders are included, so airflow in the server chassis must handle thermal management.

288-pin RDIMM form factor fits qualified slots

Each module uses the standard 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM keying, ensuring mechanical compatibility only with DDR5 RDIMM slots on the listed Supermicro systems. Builders who need unbuffered UDIMMs, non-ECC memory, or a different capacity per module cannot use this kit. The two-module pack fills a matched pair for dual-channel operation on the supported boards.

Questions about this item

Will the 4Rx4 modules on the X13SEDW-F motherboard require any firmware or BIOS updates down the line?

The kit is validated for SuperMicro UP SuperServer SYS-111C-NR and SYS-521C-NR systems; follow the board vendor's BIOS release notes for any future memory-support updates.

What is the first limit reached when the 256GB kit runs at DDR5 4800 continuously?

The CL40 latency at 1.10V defines the stable operating point; sustained loads stay within the JEDEC DDR5 4800 specification without exceeding rated voltage.

How much heat do the two 128GB RDIMMs produce when the server runs all day?

Modules operate at 1.1V without heat spreaders; typical DDR5 RDIMM power at this voltage and speed keeps thermals within standard server airflow limits.
