32 GB dual-channel DDR5 kit with two 16 GB registered ECC RDIMMs at 4800 MT/s, CL40, 1.1 V, validated for the Gigabyte MZ23-SU0 motherboard
Size 32GB 2X16GB
This NEMIX RAM kit supplies 32 GB as two 16 GB DDR5-4800 registered ECC modules built to the PC5-38400 standard. It is intended for administrators upgrading a GIGABYTE MZ23-SU0 motherboard that requires 288-pin RDIMMs with 1Rx8 organisation and 1.1 V operation. The registered buffer and on-die ECC protect data integrity in multi-slot server configurations.
DDR5 RDIMMs rely on the motherboard's memory controller to enforce slot population rules and maximum supported capacity per channel. The MZ23-SU0 manual defines which slots must be filled first and whether mixed-rank configurations are permitted. Exceeding the board's validated DIMM-per-channel limit or ignoring the prescribed installation order will prevent the system from posting at the rated 4800 MT/s speed.
The single-rank-by-eight architecture combined with registered signalling and ECC is the decisive specification for this platform. Only modules matching that exact rank, voltage, and error-correction profile will initialise at full capacity and maintain stability across all populated slots. Builders needing unbuffered UDIMMs, SODIMMs, or a different rank structure must select a different kit.

Other versions of this model
The kit provides two 16GB DDR5 RDIMMs (32GB total) matching the board's 288-pin registered ECC spec; a single 32GB DIMM would change rank and population rules.
The modules run at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency at 1.1V, giving the bandwidth and error-correction the server platform expects for stable full-capacity operation.
PC5-38400 caps the data rate at 4800 MT/s, while the registered 288-pin RDIMM form factor only fits DDR5 server boards that support registered ECC — it will not work in UDIMM or SODIMM slots.
