512 GB DDR4 3200 ECC RDIMM kit

This 512 GB kit contains eight 64 GB DDR4 3200 modules built for ThinkMate GPX-XN6-24S3-10GPU servers. Each stick is a 288-pin registered DIMM with ECC, 4Rx4 organisation and CL22 latency at 1.20 V. The modules use major OEM DRAM from Samsung, Micron or Hynix and ship without heat spreaders.

Upgrades non-ECC or lower-capacity DDR4

Replaces standard unbuffered DDR4 or smaller registered kits when data integrity and maximum density are required. The jump is worth it for workloads that need 512 GB in a single system and cannot tolerate silent memory errors. Systems limited to lower speeds or unregistered memory will not support these modules.

Fits ThinkMate GPU-optimised servers

Designed for the GPX-XN6-24S3-10GPU platform with eight DIMM slots populated. Registered signalling and ECC free the CPU memory controller for large datasets while maintaining stability under sustained load. Builds needing more than eight slots or non-registered memory cannot use this kit.

Questions about this item

Does this 8-module kit require 288-pin DDR4 RDIMM slots?

Yes, every 64 GB module is a 288-pin DDR4 RDIMM, so the server must provide eight 288-pin DDR4 RDIMM sockets.

What is the correct population order for the 4Rx4 modules?

Install the eight 4Rx4 RDIMMs following the server manual's channel sequence; the common mistake is mixing ranks across channels instead of filling each channel identically.

Will the Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips need replacement under normal server loads?

The modules use major OEM DRAM chips rated for continuous operation; no scheduled chip replacement is required during the system's service life.
