64 GB DDR5 ECC RDIMM kit at 4800 MT/s CL40, registered 1.1 V 288-pin modules built for Dell Precision 7960 workstations
This 64 GB kit contains two 32 GB DDR5 RDIMMs built for the Dell Precision 7960 rack or tower workstation. Registered ECC operation protects data integrity in professional workloads. The modules run at 1.1 V and carry CL40 latency.
Sixty-four gigabytes across two slots leaves room for further expansion on boards with additional DIMM sockets. The dual-rank 2Rx8 organisation suits memory-intensive tasks such as virtualisation or large dataset processing. Systems limited to two slots reach their ceiling here.
Only platforms that accept registered ECC DDR5 RDIMMs can use this memory. Standard consumer motherboards and non-ECC workstations will not post with these modules. Verify the workstation manual specifies RDIMM support before purchase.

| Included items | 64 GB (2 × 32 GB) DDR5 4800 MHz PC5-38400 1Rx4 1.1 V CL40 288-PIN ECC RDIMM Registered Server Memory KIT |
The kit is DDR5 4800 CL40 ECC registered memory. Mixing modules of different speeds, latencies, ranks or voltages can prevent the system from posting or force all memory to run at the lowest common settings. For best stability, populate remaining slots with identical DDR5 4800 CL40 1.1 V 2Rx8 ECC RDIMMs.
Enter the system BIOS or UEFI and open the memory information page. It should show 64 GB total, 4800 MT/s operating speed, CL40 timings, 1.1 V voltage and ECC enabled. In the OS, tools such as dmidecode on Linux or CPU-Z on Windows will report the same speed, rank (2Rx8) and ECC status.
The box contains two 32 GB DDR5 4800 CL40 1.1 V 288-pin ECC RDIMM modules (part number MR38400-324K2). No additional hardware, cables, heat spreaders or software licences are required; the modules install directly into the workstation's DDR5 RDIMM slots.
