NEO
A Wi-Fi infrared hub that learns any remote code and controls air-conditioners, TVs and fans from a phone or voice assistant, powered by USB
The NEO wireless infrared remote brings app and voice control to existing infrared appliances such as air conditioners, televisions and fans. It connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network using the 802.11 b/g/n protocol and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Xiaoai, Xiaodu and TM Genie speakers. The built-in code library supports major brands including Gree, Midea, Haier, Oaks and Hisense, while a learning function lets you teach commands from any other infrared handset. No hub is required; the device joins the home network directly.
The unit draws 5 V at 1 A from a USB supply, consuming a maximum of 0.55 W and 110 mA in normal use. It emits infrared signals at 38 to 56 kHz across a 360° horizontal angle with a stated range of 7 metres, so placement behind a TV or on a shelf does not require line-of-sight aiming. Because it is powered continuously from a USB adapter, there are no batteries to replace and no sleep delays when issuing a command.
The DIY learning feature captures signals from original remotes, letting the unit control any infrared device even if its brand is not in the pre-loaded library. Once learned, those commands are available through the same app and voice interfaces as the built-in codes. The USB power input means the remote can stay hidden near a wall socket or TV USB port, keeping the installation tidy while maintaining permanent readiness for voice or app triggers.

Plug the unit into a 5 V 1 A USB port, connect it to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network via the app, then add each appliance by selecting its brand from the built-in IR library or using the DIY learning function; the step often missed is teaching custom codes for devices not in the default library.
The device has no batteries or moving parts, so routine maintenance is limited to keeping the USB power source and Wi-Fi router operational; if the power adapter fails, replace it with another 5 V 1 A supply.
The infrared signal reaches 7 metres with a 360° horizontal spread at 38–56 kHz, so the first limit is distance — devices farther than 7 m or blocked by walls will not receive commands.
