Liquid-friendly vacuum sealer rolls

This two-pack of NESCO VS-03R rolls provides 20 cm by 600 cm of clear, BPA-free plastic film for home food storage. The material is safe for microwave, sous-vide, boiling and freezer use. Cross-venting channels on both sides help extract air while slowing liquid travel during sealing. Rolls can be cut to custom bag lengths for proteins, produce or prepared meals.

Sealing moist or liquid foods

Cross-venting channels reduce the speed of travelling liquids so the seal bar can close cleanly on soups, sauces and marinated items. The film is rated for microwave, boil, sous-vide and dishwasher environments without failing. Users must still leave enough head-space and monitor the seal cycle to prevent liquid from reaching the vacuum pump. Very large or bone-in cuts may exceed the practical width of the roll.

Capacity and storage headroom

Each roll yields multiple bags sized to the user's portions, with the two-pack supplying a total of 600 cm of length per roll. The film supports strong vacuum seals that resist freezer burn for short or long-term storage. Heavy bulk items or whole roasts wider than 20 cm will not fit, and the roll length limits the number of extra-large bags per pack.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 20cm x 600cm roll or a different width for my sealer?

The 20cm width works with most countertop sealers; each roll gives 600cm of length you can cut to any bag size, and the pack includes two rolls for high-volume use.

What does the liquid-friendly design actually do when I seal soups or sauces?

Cross-venting channels on both sides slow down travelling liquids during the vacuum cycle, so moist foods seal cleanly without leaking into the machine.

Are these rolls limited to NESCO machines or do they work with other brands?

They are compatible with NESCO and other brands of vacuum sealers, using the standard channel-type sealing bar found on most home units.
