AX3000 WiFi 6 router for busy homes

The Netgear RAX36S-100PAS is a dual-band WiFi 6 router that delivers up to 3Gbps combined wireless throughput using four spatial streams. A 1.7GHz quad-core processor handles concurrent 4K streaming, gaming and video calls across many devices. It suits households that want modern WiFi 6 performance without moving to tri-band or mesh hardware.

Check your modem and coverage needs

You need a broadband modem with an RJ45 WAN port to connect the router’s 1Gbps Internet port. The four LAN ports also run at 1Gbps each for wired PCs, consoles or NAS units. Wireless coverage is rated up to 2,000 sq. ft., so verify that this footprint matches your floor plan before ordering.

Fits a standard gateway setup

The router replaces an older gateway and adds WiFi 6 with 160MHz channel support for compatible phones and laptops. Four Gigabit LAN ports free up wired bandwidth for desktop workstations or smart TVs. It includes a one-year NETGEAR Armor subscription and Smart Parental Controls for whole-network security and family management.
