The NETGEAR ProSafe 10 Gigabit Selector Black is a passive Ethernet selector that lets one RJ45 input connect to either of two RJ45 outputs with a mechanical dial. It requires no power, drivers or configuration. The metal enclosure measures 4.3 by 3.7 by 1.9 centimetres and operates silently on a desktop or in a cabinet.

Check cables and port speed before ordering

Verify that your existing cables are Cat 5e or better to support the 10 Gbps uplink speed and 9216-byte jumbo frames. The selector provides three 10 Gbps RJ45 uplink ports and auto-negotiates down to 5 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 1 Gbps or 100 Mbps. Only one of the two output paths is active at any time.
