Universal spill containment

The New Pig PIG203 Sorbent Sock is built for maintenance teams and facility managers who need reliable containment of coolants, oils, solvents and water. Each blue sock measures three inches by twenty feet and uses vermiculite filler wrapped in a polypropylene mesh skin. The round profile lets it mould around equipment bases and uneven floors. Four socks are supplied in one package.

Absorption capacity and deployment

A single sock absorbs up to three gallons of universal fluids, giving the pack a combined capacity of fourteen gallons. The polypropylene outer layer resists tearing while the filler locks in liquid to limit secondary drips. No rope runs along the length, so the sock lays flat or curves without snagging. Workers can position it quickly around leaking machinery or across doorways during routine checks.
