Questions about this item

What scale is the Eurocopter Dauphin HH-65C model and how does it relate to the real aircraft?

The model is built at 1/48 scale, meaning every 48 inches on the actual helicopter equals one inch on this diecast replica.

What are the exact dimensions and clearance needed to display this helicopter on a shelf?

It measures approximately 9.5 inches long, 2.25 inches wide, and 3.5 inches high, so allow at least that footprint plus a small margin for the included display stand.

How do you attach the model to its display stand without damaging the landing gear?

The helicopter has no openings or removable panels; gently lower the fixed landing gear onto the stand's cradle until the weight rests evenly on the real rubber tires.
