Scale and purpose

This 1/32 scale diecast model reproduces a Freightliner 114SD flatbed truck with a working crane in red. It is aimed at adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value officially licensed detail.

Build context

The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging and requires no assembly or additional components to display. Its diecast metal construction with plastic parts and real rubber tires makes it a self-contained piece that frees up shelf space without needing a dedicated display case.

Sustained handling

The crane arm rotates and holds posed positions reliably during repeated adjustment. Opening doors and detailed interior and exterior elements maintain their alignment after regular handling, while the diecast chassis resists bending under the weight of the flatbed load.

Questions about this item

Will the crane arm hold its pose during long display periods?

The crane arm rotates and poses mechanically; it has no motors or hydraulics, so it stays exactly where you position it without power or heat concerns.

Does the model generate any heat or noise when left on a shelf all day?

It is a static diecast model with no electronics, batteries or moving drivetrain, so it produces zero heat and no audible noise in any environment.

What extra items are needed to display the truck with its doors open and crane extended?

Nothing beyond the model itself; the doors open on their hinges and the crane arm rotates freely, all contained in the single diecast unit.
