Replacement Screen for Doors and Windows

This aluminum wire fabric measures 30 inches wide by 7 feet long with a charcoal finish. The mesh uses an 18 by 16 pattern and .011 inch wire diameter for medium-weight screening. It suits homeowners replacing damaged door or window screens.

Limits of Aluminum Mesh Construction

Aluminum wire resists rust but can dent or crease if handled roughly during installation. The fixed 30 inch width cannot be joined seamlessly for wider openings. Mesh openness reduces visibility and airflow compared to finer fiberglass alternatives. Buyers needing wider spans or tighter insect protection should consider other materials.

Questions about this item

Which mesh count should I choose for this 30 in wide aluminum screen?

This roll uses an 18 x 16 mesh count, which is the only specification offered for the FCS9369-M model.

What does the .011 in wire diameter mean once the screen is installed in a door or window?

The .011 in wire diameter gives the charcoal aluminum fabric a medium weight that holds its shape in a 30 in wide frame while still allowing airflow through the 18 x 16 openings.
