3-Port 4K@60Hz HDMI Switch

The NEWCARE HDMI switch connects three source devices to a single display, letting you change inputs without reaching behind the screen. It supports video up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz and passes HDR10+, Dolby Vision, VRR and 3D formats. The unit weighs 0.036 kilograms and requires no external power cable.

Switching Methods and Remote Range

You can change the active port by pressing the button on the unit, using the included infrared remote, or relying on automatic switching to the last powered source. The remote works up to 10 metres in a straight line and 8 metres at 45 degrees left or right, though it needs two AAA batteries which are not supplied. Automatic switching may not function with every source device.

Capacity and Headroom

Three HDMI inputs feed one output, so the switch handles a typical living-room trio such as a console, a streamer and a Blu-ray player. It runs out of ports when a fourth source is added, and it cannot combine or split signals to multiple displays. The 4K@60Hz bandwidth ceiling means higher refresh rates such as 120 Hz at 4K are not supported.

Questions about this item

How much space does the 0.036 kg switch need behind a TV?

The unit weighs 0.036 kg and has three HDMI inputs plus one output, so allow room for four cables and the IR receiver to face the remote.

What is the step people miss when setting up the remote?

The IR receiver must be left exposed; it accepts signals up to 10 m straight ahead or 8 m at 45 degrees off-centre.

Will the automatic switching mode need adjustment later?

Some source devices do not trigger auto-switching, so you may rely on the top button or remote instead.
